Larrian Gillespie is a freelance writer specializing in health, nutrition, travel, cooking and lifestyle articles for national consumer magazines and custom publications.

Larrian received her medical degree from the University of California at Los Angeles School of Medicine and practiced Urology in Beverly Hills for 15 years before retiring from medicine. As a freelance writer, her work has appeared in Travelgirl Magazine, Low Carb Energy, The Chattanooga Free Press and numerous consumer websites. She is a member of the International Association of Culinary Professionals and the American Institute of Wine and Food.

Larrian Gillespie has followed her passion for artisanal culinary experiences by holding certifications from the French Pastry School, Chicago, Le Centre de Formations D’Alain Ducasse, Paris, France, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo as an artisanal cheese maker and is enrolled in the Academie Opus Casseus, Lyon, France as a French artisanal cheese maker. In addition she is completing her certification as a Spirits Taster and was accepted into the ONAOO Certified Olive Oil Taster program in Imperia, Italy.
